Bielsko-Biała opens straight into the Beskids, with Równica above Ustroń, the Przełęcz Salmopolska crossing towards Szczyrk, the ramp to Góra Żar over the Soła valley and quieter passes like Kocierska and Szarcula linking one wooded ridge to the next. Long forest descents, well-surfaced regional roads and a real city at the trailhead — trains, hotels, workshops and food at any hour — make it the natural base for mountain riding in southern Poland.
Szczyrk lies in the Silesian Beskids at the foot of Skrzyczne, the range's highest peak, with the Przełęcz Salmopolska and a web of forest climbs rising straight from the valley. Steady wooded gradients, quiet mountain lanes and the passes above the Żylica valley make it one of Poland's best-loved climbing bases.
Wisła, cradled around the source of the Vistula in the Silesian Beskids, is ringed by climbs — the Kubalonka pass, the road toward Barania Góra and the forest ascents linking it to Istebna and the Czech and Slovak borders. Long steady gradients through spruce woods and a low-traffic mountain setting make it a Beskid classic.
