Bielsko-Biała opens straight into the Beskids, with Równica above Ustroń, the Przełęcz Salmopolska crossing towards Szczyrk, the ramp to Góra Żar over the Soła valley and quieter passes like Kocierska and Szarcula linking one wooded ridge to the next. Long forest descents, well-surfaced regional roads and a real city at the trailhead — trains, hotels, workshops and food at any hour — make it the natural base for mountain riding in southern Poland.
